Rather than sending out a mass advertising campaign to a vast audience, utilizing influencer marketing can streamline your brand's reach. Here's how it works. A company finds an Influencer who they'd like to work with. The company will then contact the influencer and offer a product or some type of compensation in exchange for the influencer's honest review on any number of social media platforms.

The greatest factor here is the element of trust. This marketing technique is what we like to call, "The Best Friend Tactic" Influencer's reach their fans on a real and personal level. In a way, a lot of their interactions with their followers almost mirror a best friend relationship. Influencer marketing is effective because followers tend to trust the influencer's opinion over direct marketing. In turn, followers are more inclined to purchase and try the product when someone they trust has had a positive personal experience.
